Kurnool: A 14-year-old boy, Shivanna Gowd, drowned in a canal in Gulyam village of Halaharvi mandal on Tuesday.
The son of Ampana Gowd and Parvathy, Shivanna was returning home from his farm activity when he ventured to the canal for a drink.
Despite the immediate attention by locals, their search efforts along the canal proved futile, and the body of the young boy was found on Tuesday morning.
