The social networking sites were flooded with trolls supporting the star of movies like Diamond Necklace and Oppam. On September 23, she shared the restaurant bill of Rs 680 for having just two chicken puffs, a cup of tea and coffee. A single puff cost '250 at the Kitchen Restaurant.

Many comments under her post came from airport users fuming at the eatery, where dosa costs Rs 250 and tea Rs 80. The trolls captured helplessness of captive customers in airports and multiplexes where Non-Resident Keralites are shown as prisoners being beaten up. The actress later thanked all the trolls for having made it a topic of discussion.

"We have received no written complaint from the actress but have heard about it. Our commercial department will check whether the restaurant charged more than the price ceiling agreed upon," said airport director George G. Tharakan.
