Thailand beckons cutie pies

These students will be competing with 70 selected junior models from 35 different countries at Thailand.

Kozhikode: Five school students from Kozhikode- Aami K.P, Biyamka, Niharika N.J, Rithika. B and Sharan ranjith will represent India at Prince and Princess International to be conducted at Thailand between July 26 and 30. These five students were selected after the finale competition of Junior Model International- India conducted in April at Kozhikode. These students will be competing with 70 selected junior models from 35 different countries at Thailand. The winners of the competition will be getting a life-long scholarship for education, which is sponsored by The Centre State Organization-Thailand with the support of Thailand Tourism Department.

“These five students from Kozhikode were selected after competing with more than 50 child models from different parts of the country”, said Arun Ratna, International Fashion Choreographer. After their grand finale at Kozhikode, they were groomed for the international show, which will be a first of its kind experience for these children. These aspiring young models will also be getting a chance to meet international models at Thailand and interact with them. “The students have put in a lot of practice to groom themselves for the international event. They have been trained including their dress sense, the way they should speak before judges and the way they should walk,” Mr Arun added.
