Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF government has made a shuffle in the general education department by swapping both the DPI and the higher secondary director. As per the decision, M.S. Jaya who is the DPI now, will take over as the higher secondary director, while higher secondary director K.V. Mohankumar would take over as the new DPI.
Incidentally, Ms Jaya who had been the DPI, was on leave for the past few weeks and Mr Mohankumar was given additional charge. However, the officials were appointed by the previous UDF government. The LDF after coming into power had shifted many senior IAS and IPS officials appointed by the UDF government.
