Be people-friendly, Hyderabad mayor tells ward officials

HYDERABAD: The GHMC told its ward officers that they must promptly respond to complaints and take immediate action, at a training programme on Thursday. The GHMC asked them to visit their respective areas every morning and be in the ward office from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The corporation told them to interact with the officials to look into drinking water supply problems, sewage network maintenance, and town planning and resolve all complaints within the stipulated time.

Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi inaugurated the session in the presence of GHMC commissioner D.S. Lokesh Kumar and Janamandali managing director Dana Kishore.
