MLA Ma Foi Pandiarajan launches website, mobile app
Chennai: AIADMK legislator Ma Foi Pandiarajan has gone transparent. He has also created a platform to ensure quick redressal of the problems in his Avadi constituency.
The website www.kpandiarajan.com that he has created provides all information about his MLA funds availability and the list of beneficiaries, while the mobile app that he has announced makes public interaction with their legislator so much easier while guaranteeing transparency.
“When it comes to governance, ensuring transparency, accessibility, and speedy redressal of grievances have been the main objectives of our Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. I strongly believe that digital and mobile technology can greatly help us deliver on these promises,” Mr Pandiarajan said.
“Today, usage of smart phones is on the rise. Our Chief Minister has also promised free smart phones for poor families. Hence, I developed MyAvadi mobile application. I am hopeful that this app is going to capture the imagination of the public and change the way they interact with their elected representative,” he said.
The website gives every detail about the MLA and ways to get in touch with him to complain about civic issues or any difficulty faced by them with regard to the constituency.
Mr Pandiarajan's move has already become a hit with many people living in the constituency using the website and app to reach to him. He has been elected as the Avadi on an AIADMK ticket this time. People in his erstwhile constituency of Virudhunagar fondly remember him as an accessible politician, who took time to solve their problems.

Saravana Kumar, software professional who lives in Avadi, says the constituency people have been hoping for an educated as an MLA and they were happy with Mr Pandiarajan. “Many people who can't find an accommodation inside Chennai live here and we have lot of problems that need to be addressed. We hope he will solve our problems,” he said.
