They claim that the moral policing issue had not forced them to expedite their marriage to last Friday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Around three days after taking policewomen to task for their moral policing on Facebook live, Vishnu S.S. and Arathy S.A. tied the knot on Friday. The couple had shot into fame after they streamed videos of policewoman questioning them sitting together at Museum. The couple were planning to get married next month. They claim that the moral policing issue had not forced them to expedite their marriage to last Friday.

“Being an unmarried couple, we were finding it hard to get a rented house in the city. Anyway we were to get married soon, so we thought why not now,” Arathy said. The duo legally solemnised their marriage but festivities were limited to cutting a cake at Nishagandhi. The parents also accepted the relationship. The couple have passed B.com and Vishnu works in a private IT-related company. Arathy is preparing for a few entrance examinations.
