Hyderabad: The GHMC's Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM) has invited complaints about storage of hazardous chemicals in residential and densely populated areas on the phone number 040-29555500 or on WhatsApp to 9000113667.
The directorate sought the GPS map location, photographs and address details of the dump.
“The complainant's identity will be kept confidential and steps will be taken to shift the hazardous chemicals,” said N, Prakash Reddy, EV&DM director.
He said that the owners or residents should ensure that hazardous chemicals and materials are not stored in their premises.
The directorate in a press release reminded residents of the major fire accident resulting from stored chemicals at Red Hills on November 13 in which ten people were killed.
