Nizamabad: A 43-year-old police constable died of a massive heart stroke at V Town police station here at Nagaram on Sunday.
The deceased K. Koti Ramanjaneya Reddy attended for duty on Sunday and while taking up roll call he fell unconscious. Noticing this, other constables immediately shifted him to Government General Hospital. The doctors declared the constable was brought dead due to heart stroke.
The deceased is native of Kadapa and joined the police department in 2009. He is survived by wife, two daughters and mother. Additional DCP S. Jayaram, Nizamabad town ACP M. Kiran Kumar, police officers association representatives visited the deceased’s residence and expressed condolences.
