Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has invited entries for presenting two prestigious awards ‘YSR Lifetime Achievement and YSR Achievement-2022’ from the individuals and organisations involved in providing the best services in several fields before September 30.
Information and public relations commissioner T. Vijay Kumar Reddy said here on Friday that a state-level high power screening committee under the chairmanship of government adviser (pulic affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy was held.
He said that for the second consecutive day, the government was inviting entries from the individuals and organisations involved in fields like education, health, agriculture, women development, social justice and others.
The entries are to be submitted along with their bio-data to ‘secy-political@ap.gov.in’.
The awards will be presented on November 1 to mark AP formation day.
The YSR Lifetime Achievement Award carries cash prize of Rs 10 lakh, YSR bronze statue, memento and citation while the YSR Achievement Award carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh, memento and citation.
