Hyderabad: Following the violent overnight incident at the Karmanghat Hanuman temple in Rachakonda police limits, in-charge DGP Anjani Kumar held a review meeting with the three police commissioners, additional DG of Intelligence and the additional DG of law and order and senior officials here on Wednesday. No individual or group will be allowed to take law into their hands, he said.

"Firm action will be taken against communal offenders and those who are trying to disturb communal harmony in the State. Rachakonda commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat has registered five cases in this regard and many offenders have been taken in custody. It is the responsibility of the people to inform police if they come across any information about communal clashes. Police will take immediate action," said Anjani Kumar.
