Hyderabad: The Sikh Community in the city will celebrate the 351st birthday of Guru Gobind Singh from December 23-25.
A colourful religious procession will be taken out on Saturday from the Central Gurudwara Saheb Gowliguda near Koti. While on the day of Prakash Utsav, which falls on December 25, a mass congregation called Vishaal Deewan, will be held at the Nizam College, Basheerbagh between 11 am to 4.30 pm.
The Nagar Keertan event that will be held on Saturday will be attended by around 15,000-20,000 devotees where the scripture of the Sikhs will be carried on a decorated vehicle along with Nishaan Sahebans (religious flags).
