British envoy visits UoH’s incubating start-ups

Hyderabad: Gareth Wynn Owen, British deputy high commissioner to AP and Telangana, interacted with students at the University of Hyderabad's (UoH) start-up incubation centre ASPIRE on Saturday.

The management team along with CEOs of ASPIRE-BioNEST and ASPIRE-TBI explained the initiatives to create a vibrant innovation ecosystem.

Owen was accompanied by deputy trade commissioner, South Asia, Anna Shotbolt, deputy head of mission Varun Mali, senior trade adviser, life sciences and healthcare, Harsh Indrarun, and inward investment adviser Dheeraj Srivatsa.

Owen and the team briefed the ASPIRE members about the programmes and opportunities offered by the British government for promoting bilateral relations and collaborations between the educational institutions and entrepreneurial ecosystems in both the countries.
