No clue yet on who attacked Asianet News channel vehicle

It was around 3am on Thursday that the vehicle was attacked by assailants.

ALAPPUZHA: The police has found no clue on assailants involved in the channel vehicle attack case that took place here on wee hours of Thursday. The vehicle was parked in front of Alappuzha office of Asianet News channel. According to north police which is investigating the case, nobody has been caught in connection with the incident. The investigation is progressing based on the CCTV footage taken from nearby shops and houses', police said.

It was around 3am on Thursday that the vehicle was attacked by assailants. The rear and front sides of the vehicle were shattered with concrete block. The state and district police chiefs have vowed a thorough investigation the case. The police hopes they could find breakthrough in days to come. The dog squad and finger print experts also inspected the spot. The incident came at a time when scribe T.V. Prasad was consistently running stories against alleged illegal activities relating to Transport Minister Thomas Chandy.
