Jangaon JAC performs Jwala Sudarshana Narasimha Sahitha Chandi yagam for district
Jangaon (Warangal): The Jangaon JAC is leaving no stone unturned in its bid to ensure Jangaon district is created. After the success of the recent ‘Janagama Jana garjana’ public meeting, several forms of agitations, rasta rokos, hunger strikes and 214 days of ‘deeksha’ by JAC leaders and several political parties, the JAC decided to conduct ‘Jwala Sudarshana Narasimha Sahitha Chandi yagam’ on Thurday. The yagam was conducted at the grain market in Jangaon.
JAC Chairman A. Dashmantha Reddy said they sought divine intervention to bring about a change in the mindset of the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao regarding creation of a new Jangaon district.
About 1,000 locals including lawyers, government employees, teachers, students and JAC members attended the yagam.
The Jangaon brahmana sangam came forward to conduct the yagam supporting the new district demand.
As part of this, Ganapathi Puja, swasthi punyaha vachanam, ruthvikaranam, chandi homam, rudra homam, manyasuktha homam, sudarshana narasimha and panch suktha homam were conducted.
JAC chairperson A. Dashmantha Reddy, municipal chairperson Premalatha Reddy, vice chairman N. Venkat, Jangaon chamber of commerce president P. Lingaiah and other performed the yagam.
They expressed hope that Jangaon district will be created at least by divine intervention.
