3 held for burglaries in Balapur
HYDERABAD: Balapur sleuths apprehended burglary offenders and recovered 16 tolas of gold and 10 tolas of silver, two bikes, one autorickshaw and three mobiles from them. Sayed Wazeer reported the crime on July 15 when he noticed an unknown person fleeing his house.
The investigation involved verifying CC cameras near the complainant's house and showing it to locals to identify the offenders. On Friday, the cops apprehended Syed Khaja, Shaik Arif, and Shaik Asif. During their confession, they admitted to the crime and revealed how they carried out multiple burglaries in Balapur.
Syed Khaja was earlier involved in a Pocso case and learned about property offences in jail where he befriended other offenders. Upon his release, with insufficient earnings, he devised a plan to earn money quickly and shared it with his brothers-in-law, Shaik Arif and Shaik Asif. Together, they executed 21 offences within the Balapur PS limits.
