KTR Writes to Rajnath Singh to Seek Defence Lands For Hyderabad Skywalk

Municipal administration and urban development minister KT Rama Rao wrote to defence minister Rajnath Singh seeking defence land to construct a skywalk at Rythubazar in Mehdipatnam area of Hyderabad.

In his letter, KTR stated that the Telangana goverment has initiaited the project to minimise traffic congestion and prevent road mishaps in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. He also mentioned that the work to the extent of non-defence area was already done and the remaining area is pending for want of clearance from Minsitry of Defence, Government of India.

KTR sought defence minister Rajnath Singh's intervention in the matter for expeditious transfer of land for the development.
