THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: High Court acting Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan visited Puttingal temple in Paravoor which saw 114 people getting killed in the fireworks mishap. Justice Radhakrishnan remained tightlipped during the visit and told reporters that he came to inspect the scene.
Justice Anu Sivaraman accompanied him. The division bench comprising of these two judges had directed the directorate of explosives to inform whether any prohibited substance was found in the explosives. Crime Branch officials informed on Sunday that they would be submitting the call list of police officials along with their report to the High Court on Monday.
On Wednesday, HC had decided to consider the scope of rehabilitation and compensation for the victims and whether there was any deficiency on the part of the disaster management authority in taking measures to prevent the tragedy.
