Returnable plots allotted to farmers in Amaravati
Guntur: The APCRDA allotted returnable plots to the pooled farmers of Nekkallu and Malkapuram villages of Amaravati capital region on Friday.
The programme was held in the APCRDA office at Tullur. Presenting the plot allotment papers to the pooled farmers, Tadikonda MLA T. Sravan Kumar said, according to the government orders, the APCRDA allotting returnable plots as per the wishes of the pro LPS farmers.
He said that the government will conduct road shows in the main cities of India to attract developers to Amaravati for the development of the new capital. He assured about providing all basic amenities to the returnable plots by the year 2018.
APCRDA commissioner, Ch. Sreedhar said that 919 pro-LPS farmers offered 1146.48 acres of land to APCRDA under LPS and APCRDA allotted 1,360 residential plots, 900 commercial plots and 76 villa plots. Similarly, 301 pro-LPS farmers pooled 418 acres of land to APCRDA under LPS and APCRDA allotted 351 residential plots, 261 commercial plots and 13 villa plots.
Tullur MPP V. Padmalatha, Tullur ZPTC B. Narendra Babu, Nekkallu sarpanch Jonnalagadda Sarala, Nekkallu MPTC Gumma Pushpavathi, Malkapuram sarpanch S. Parvathi, MPTC B. Lakshmi and farmers participated in the programme.
