Kurnool: Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Kurnool district on Monday.
In the first incident, a 25-year-old man, Ali Basha, was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Kothur in Kodumuru mandal. He died on the spot. Basha is survived by his wife and two children.
In the second incident, a 36-year-old man, Boya Nagakrishna, was struck by a train near Ulindakonda in Kallur mandal. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead. Nagakrishna had come to Ulindakonda to attend a relative's function.
The police have registered cases and are investigating the matter.
