ADILABAD: Two more swine flu positive cases were reported in Adilabad district on Sunday while many people suffering from the symptoms are undergoing treatment at RIMS and in private hospitals. This has set the alarm bells ringing as cases are being reported not only in Adilabad town but also surrounding mandals like Gudihathnoor and Utnoor.
One patient, who tested positive, is a resident of Adilabad town while the other belongs to a village in Tamsi mandal. The two patients were treated at RIMS and reportedly discharged.
The district’s first positive case was reported in Adilabad town a few days back.
The recent floods and poor sanitation have been adding to the problem.
