Hyderabad: Four nabbed in murder bid

The accused used to visit the area looking for the girl.

Hyderabad: Four people were arrested by Chandrayangutta police in an attempt to murder case on Tuesday.

The accused have been identified as Abdul Aziz, 20, Omer Bin Hasan, 19, Ali Bin Hussain Jaidi,19, and Adnan Bin Shafi, 23. Abdul Aziz had fallen in love with a girl who resided in Shalibanda area.

The accused used to visit the area looking for the girl. The victim IIyas Ahmed who lived in the same area warned the accused not to visit the area. Subsequently the girl filed a complaint against the accused as well.

The accused were furious with IIyas Ahmed and waited for an opportunity to take revenge on him. On August 14, when the victim IIyas Ahmed along with his friend Syed Ali were at the Falaknuma Railway bridge, the accused accosted him.

M.A. Rasheed Assistant Commissioner of police, Falaknuma said, “The accused chased them and caught them at Noori Palace. The victim’s friend Syed Ali, fearing for his life, escaped from the spot. The accused took the victim to Peelidarga graveyard and thrashed him. They then took him to Mallapur area and further thrashed him, following which the victim sustained severe head injury and fell unconscious. Assuming that the victim had died, the accused fled from the spot.”

When the victim came to a conscious state, he went home and later came to the police station and informed the cops about the assault. The Chandrayangutta police booked a case of attempt to murder and started an investigation. On Tuesday, the cops nabbed all the four accused involved in the attempt-to-murder case.
