CM Jagan to launch Jagananna Suraksha scheme across 15,004 village/ward secretariats

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would launch the month-long Jagananna Suraksha programme across 15,004 village / ward secretariats on Friday. He would do this online from the CM’s Camp Office in Tadepalli.

The chief minister is keen that no eligible beneficiary is left behind in availing the benefits of his government’s welfare schemes. In this context, he started the flagship programme Jagananna Suraksha to redress the grievances in this connection. He would be taking Jaganannaku Chebudam to the next level by covering each house in every village.

The people can call toll free number 1902 or visit https://vswsonline.ap.gov.in/#/home to find the schedule of the Jagananna Suraksha programme in their village/ ward secretariat.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “No eligible person should be deprived of the benefits of our welfare schemes. Delivering these benefits in a most transparent manner and in 100 per cent saturation mode is important in its execution. Let us not leave any scope for corruption and discrimination based on caste, religion, sect or political affiliation.”

The CM described Jagananna Suraksha as an unprecedented initiative in the country to resolve public grievances by visiting each house.

Officials said the Jagananna Suraksha teams consisting of volunteers, staff of V/W secretariats, public representatives and enthusiasts admiring Jagan Reddy and his government would start house visits from June 24. They would visit all the 1.6 crore households across AP in 7 to 10 days and listen to as also collect their grievances in writing. After identifying the leftover beneficiaries, the required documents will be collected to resolve their issues. If they require any certificates like Birth, Income and Caste, the team will collect essential documents and assist them in filling out the necessary application.

The Jagananna Suraksha team goes to the Secretariat and submits the documents, gets the token number and service request number and delivers them to the citizens at their residence.

The team will notify the date of the camp in their village, take them to the camp and hand- hold them until the issue is resolved.

Mandal-level officials will hold Jagananna Suraksha camps from July 1 with the tahsildar, EO, PR&RD, in one team, and the other with MPDO and deputy tahsildar. They camp for a whole day in the village / ward secretariat to hear and redress the welfare scheme grievances and to disburse necessary documents on the spot, free of service charge.
