Noted writer Kethu Viswanatha Reddy passes away

Noted writer and novelist Kethu Viswanatha Reddy passed away. He was 84. According to reports, he suffered cardiac arrest on Monday morning and was rushed to a nearby hospital. But doctors couldn't save his life and the writer breathed his last in the hospital.

Kethu Viswanatha Reddy hails from Rangasaipuram of Erraguntla mandal of YSR district in Andhra Pradesh was living in Kadapa for long. Started his career as a journalist, Viswanatha Reddy shifted to teaching profession and retired as Director of Ambedkar Universal University.

He has won several awards and honours for his literary works including the Kendra Sahitya Akademi award. His major works include Anaadivaallu, Kethu Viswanatha Reddy Kathalu, Verlu - Bodhi, Icchagni, Japtu, Drishti, Deepadaarulu, Parichayam, Patrikeyam, Sangamam and Mana Kodavatiganti
