Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police has asked people using roads in the Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram (SVK) area or Indira Park to take alternative routes due to the rally by the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC).
People going to schools, business establishments, offices, railway stations or airport are advised to plan their journeys accordingly. TJAC had planned a rally on Wednesday morning, from SVK to Indira Park for which they have not been given permission.
However, they may try to gather at SVK or Indira Park. They may also attend or try to go from SVK to Indira Park. This may cause traffic problems. The police has also requested the public not to come to Hyderabad to participate in this rally.
Action will be initiated as per law against those who attempt to violate orders. All areas have been covered fully with CCTV cameras, and their footage will be used as evidence in courts, the police warned. Police requested people of the area to cooperate with them to enforce the law and maintain peace.
