No role in the murder of BJP worker: M V Jayarajan

KOZHIKODE: CPM State committee member M. V. Jayarajan reiterated on Saturday that the party had no role in the murder of BJP worker Santhosh Kumar in Andallur, Dharmadam. His statement comes after the police recording the arrest of six CPM workers in the case of the crime. “The killing is a clear case of a family feud," Mr Jayarajan said while attending a function in Civil Station here.

"He was earlier accused of attacking another relative over a property dispute. It was CPM workers who helped him get a bail. That time, the BJP workers were not ready to help him. In such a situation, how can the BJP put the blame on the CPM over the murder?” Soon after the killing, the CPM leader had reacted the same way in Kannur.
