Hyderabad: The South Zone police task force in a joint operation with Child Development Project officers and Dabeerpura police raided Ansari Dairy Farm at Chanchalguda and seized a huge quantity of Balamrutham, a nutrition supplement supplied to Anganwadi centres.
The farm owner Ansari Mohd Khan along with the illegally acquired 130 bags of the supplement, worth Rs 2 lakh have been handed over to Dabeerpura police station for further action. The Balamrutham is the weaning food introduced under the ICDS to provide supplementary nutrition to children.
