Japan to fund study of 30 IIT Hyderabad graduates

So far, 37 IIT-H graduates have been sent to nine universities in Japan.

Hyderabad: The Japan International Cooperation Agency on Thursday said 30 graduates from IIT-H would be offered scholarships to pursue masters or PhD in renowned universities in Japan. The scholarships will cover tuition fees and logistics.

This was announced as part of the sixth edition of the academic fair held under aegis of JICA-Friendship Project, with Japanese ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu in attendance.

So far, 37 IIT-H graduates have been sent to nine universities in Japan.
