Chief engineer P G Suresh Kumar suspended for causing loss'
The minister told reporters here that there were irregularities in the KSTP's work on the MC road as well.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PWD Minister G. Sudhakaran has suspended P.G. Suresh Kumar, chief engineer and project director of Kerala State Transport Project, for irregularities causing enormous loss to the government. Suresh Kumar had given an inflated project estimate of Rs 70 crore when it could have been completed with Rs 35 crore, according to a probe conducted by a deputy chief engineer of the PWD’s vigilance wing. The minister told reporters here that there were irregularities in the KSTP’s work on the MC road as well.
