KOZHIKODE: The search and rescue team fished out the body of Vipin Das (20), son of Devadasan, Kuttikkunnummal, Kothode, Kuttiady, from Kadanthara river on Tuesday. With this the number of people who died in the flash flood in Pasukkadavu, near Poozhithode hydro electric project, rose to five.
Vipin’s body was found 1 km away from the accident site. The search is on for Vishnu Raj (19) son of Rajan, Kuttikkunnummal. Vishnu's brother Jishnu had escaped unhurt in the accident on Sunday evening. Vipin was working with an automobile company in Kozhikode. He is survived by mother Geetha and brother Shibin Das. His mortal remains was cremated at his home on Tuesday.
