Medicover hospitals gets new women, child facility

HYDERABAD: City-based Medicover Hospitals inaugurated an exclusive women and child facility in Hitec City, with advanced facilities for comprehensive women and child care with 24/7 services, on Sunday.

The facility, inaugurated by Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, is equipped with experienced consultants for gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics and neonatology. It also has level 4 NICU and PICU facilities, among others.

Speaking after inaugurating the facility, Srinivas Reddy congratulated Medicover Hospitals and appreciated their growth in the healthcare sector, with the inauguration of the 25th facility.

“The changes in our lifestyle and alterations to the way we have been living, eating and thinking have increased the incidence of diseases and disorders among children, especially newborns and children yet to be born. It is heartening to note that the hospital is dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children, with an objective to extend the best care through advanced facilities,” he said.

Chairman and managing director of Medicover Hospitals India Dr Anil Krishna said the hospital was a testimony to the relentless pursuit of the mission to continuously evolve, expand and excel in making high-quality and advanced healthcare more accessible to the needy.

“The new facility for women and children would transform into a centre of a centre of excellence and offer the best of emergency, preventive, responsive, and post-operative care,” he said.

TSRTC MD V.C. Sajjanar and Andhra Pradesh School Education Regulatory and Monitoring Commission chairman Justice (retd) A. Ramalingeswara Rao were among those present.
