3 missing after boat capsizes in Bay of Bengal

Boat capsized while it was going from Eelachetladibba to Muttayapalem in Nagayalanka mandal and boat overturned after reaching Nizampatnam
Vijayawada: Three persons, including a mother and her two children, went missing after their boat capsized in the Bay of Bengal of Nizampatnam harbour in Bapatla district on Sunday night.
The mishap took place while the boat was going from Eelachetladibba to Muttayapalem in Nagayalanka mandal. On reaching Nizampatnam, the boat overturned due to the rising waves.
The missing persons have been identified as Sai Varnika, her son Tanis and her daughter Taruneshwar.
The officials said that search operations for the missing persons have been taken up by the Coast Guard, the Navy and the local fishermen.
