Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri cops caught a man who had injured a police constable and also misbehaved with the Traffic police during drunk driving checks.
According to sources, the traffic police on Wednesday night were conducting drives against drunk driving near the ZTS X Road in Malkajgiri.
Meantime, a motorist, identified as B, Lava Kumar (26), was riding his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner was seen by the policemen.
When they tried to stop him, the driver escaped only to come back and abused. When the cops tried to nab him, the accused, whose blood alcohol content was 132 mg, punched the officer.
