Kerala engineering entrance examination: 54,604 seats on offer in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: There are a total of 54,604 seats in engineering colleges in the state. Of those 33,000 seats are filled by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations through the centralised allotment. Of 159 engineering colleges in the state, there are nine government colleges, three aided colleges, seven university-controlled self- financing colleges, two agriculture university-controlled colleges, 23 government-controlled self-financing colleges, and 115 private self- financing engineering colleges.
