Hyderabad got less than 1 cm rain so far
Hyderabad: A heavy rainfall warning has been sounded over the next two days for the northern districts of Telangana. The rain will be caused by an upper trough around Vidarbha and Telangana, the India Meteorological Department said on Monday.
IMD-Hyderabad director Y.K Reddy said the northern districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Medak could experience heavy rainfall.
The IMD has not predicted rain for Hyderabad. The southwest monsoon covered the entire state on Sunday.
Since then, Adilabad, Ranga Reddy and Nizamabad recorded the highest rainfall of 7 cm on June 19. Districts like Warangal, Medak, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have not recorded much rain since Sunday. However, the IMD has not yet evaluated the total rainfall received in TS. since Sunday.
Hyderabad recorded total rainfall of 9.8 mm since the onset of the monsoon: 3.2 mm on June 18, 4.9 mm on June 19 and 1.7 mm on Monday.
