KARIMNAGAR: Two women killed while seven others were injured in a road accident along the national highway between Puduru and Dongalamarri villages in Kodimyala mandal in Jagtial district on Sunday early morning. The incident occurred when tyre of a mini-goods van, in which they were travelling, which burst.
As many as 18 farm labourers, from Maharashtra reached Karimnagar district in two mini-vans to pluck mangoes from the mango plantations. After completing their work while returning to Maharashtra with heavy load of mangoes, the tyre of one of the vans got burst and collided with the other vehicle. Two women were died on the spot. The deceased were identified as Sunitha (45) and Mamatha (35)
Two children were also injured in the accident.The injured have been shifted to the government hospital at Jagtial.
