Thrissur: Demanding the arrest of all the five accused in Jishnu Pranoy’s suicide case, his parents and relatives have decided to begin an indefinite fast in front of the DGP’s office in Thiruvanathapuram from March 27. Jishnu’s mother Mahija said police has failed to arrest the culprits even 75 days after the death of her son. “Police has failed to do justice to the uniform they wear,” Mahijha said.
Earlier they had planned to be held in front of the secretariat, but after meeting the Chief Minister Pinarayi and handing over a charter of five demands, parents and relatives of Jishnu had withdrawn from staging the protest.
