Kozhikode: Noted architect Anupama Kundoo delivered the keynote address in ‘Thanima- 2017’, an international conference on ‘Reinventing design pedagogy and contextual aesthetics’ held at the NIT-C campus here on Friday. NITC director Shivaji Chakravarthi inaugurated the two-day conference. The conference with the theme ‘Re-imagining Aesthetic unfolding - from Conditioning to Awakening’, is jointly organised by the Department of Architecture, National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NITC), with the support of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Kozhikode Chapter and Existential Knowledge foundation, Pune.
In the conference as many as 25 papers focusing on designing and aesthetics were presented. Around 200 persons including architects, students of architecture and artists are participating in the seminar which will conclude on Saturday.
