Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Saidabad on Wednesday, after writing a suicide note alleging workplace harassment as the reason for his death.
The victim was identified as G. Narsing, 30, a resident of lower tank bund area of Saidabad, police said.
“He was working as a cashier for a private firm and alleged that he was mentally harassed and humiliated by his seniors there. He alleged the same as the reason for his death and hanged himself on Wednesday,” said Saidabad police inspector, N. Mohan Rao.
Based on a complaint, a case was booked under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of IPC against his employer and an investigation was launched.
