Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Youth Assembly (HYA), which fosters ‘unity in diversity’ under its Street Cause initiative, organised a well-attended season XIII assembly at Dr. MCR HRD Institute here on Sunday.
The topic of discussion revolved around ‘achieving sustainable development goals (SDG)’.
Members not only debated these motions on the lines of the UN Assembly procedures but also devised action plans and approved sustainable projects. The assembly showcased the power of youth in tackling societal challenges.
Dr Jaya Prakash Narayana emphasised the need for fair politics and constitutional awareness, while Dr. Tarun Joshi described HYA as a ‘highly active organisation’ that is an inspiration for the city’s youth. Prof. Arun Tiwari commended HYA for striving to regulate artificial intelligence.
