YSRC Announces Social Justice Bus Yatra to Promote Development Programs

State education minister Botsa Satyanarayana made the announcement at the party's general meeting

Visakhapatnam: A Social Justice Bus Yatra would be undertaken by the YSRC on October 27. The purpose of this yatra is to make the people aware of the development and welfare programmes undertaken by the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government in the state.

The announcement was made by state education minister Botsa Satyanarayana at the party’s general meeting held on Thursday. Former TTD chairman and YSRC regional coordinator Y.V. Subbareddy was the chief guest. Party MLA from Gajapathinagaram constituency, Botsa Narasiah presided over the meeting.

Satyanarayana targeted the Telugu Desam and said its president N. Chandrababu Naidu was corrupt. “That's why he is in jail. If there was no evidence, he wouldn’t have been arrested.”

“Today we are doing a health protection program. Chandrababu did not undertake such programmes when he ran the state. The purpose of the TD rule was simply to loot public money,” he said.

Subbareddy said, “During the TD rule, they engaged in corruption from the village level. Across the state, development programmes have been undertaken during the term of the present YSRC government.”

AT the meeting, leaders, Gruha Sadhaks and volunteers have been asked to be vigilant so that the people “are not cheated” in the coming elections.
