Hyderabad: In a significant development on Monday, senior income-tax department official Vasundhara Sinha was moved out of Hyderabad and posted as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (TDS) in Mumbai.
She has been handling the crucial post of Director General (Investigation) for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha. Sanjay Bahadur will take charge as DG (Investigation) while Shishir Agarwal was posted as Chief Commissioner, Hyderabad.
Sinha is the wife of senior police official and former city police commissioner Anjani Kumar.
