Hyderabad: A Home Guard officer, working with the Hyderabad traffic police, sustained inquires when an auto driver rammed into him. The Hyderabad traffic police lodged a complaint against the auto driver at the Begum Bazar police station.
According to the traffic police, Mr. Saida Naik, HG officer 9199 of Goshamahal Traffic PS, was deployed to regulate traffic at Siddiamber Bazar mosque.At 12.45 p.m., while the HG officer was regulating traffic, an auto came in rash manner and crashed into him from behind, resulting in injuries to his left leg.
Passersby immediately rushed him to Osmania General Hospital for first aid and medical officers diagnosed a fracture to his left ankle. He has been shifted to Arogya Hospital, MJ Market for better treatment.
The Hyderabad Traffic police lodged a complaint with Begum Bazar police station and a case booked case against the autodriver under section 337 IPC. Further investigation is underway.
