Hyderabad: The husband and mother-in-law of Sushruta, who allegedly committed suicide after being harassed over the use of an electric water heater, were granted bail on Monday. Her father-in-law N. Shankar Rao had died at the Chanchalguda central prison on Sunday.
Ms Uma, the mother-in-law, and husband Mohan Rao, have been booked for abetment to Sushruta’s suicide. Sushruta committed suicide after her husband allegedly pulled her out of the bathroom naked and beat her over the use of the water heater. The II additional metropolitan sessions judge granted bail on Monday after they submitted sureties and a bond.
