Vijayawada: Machavaram Ravi Sankar, working as intelligence officer, special intelligence branch, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Vijayawada is joining United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
He was selected from the RPF, South Central Railway, along with 68 other state and Central police forces from India to represent the ‘United Nations Peacekeeping Force in South Sudan’ for one year.
Ravi Sankar belonged to the 42nd batch of sub-inspectors and was promoted as inspector. He was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
