Hyderabad: Seven workers sustained minor injuries when an under construction wall collapsed in Shamshabad on Saturday. The workers were rushed to the Osmania Hospital and are reported to be out of danger. According to sources, a house construction was going on in Shamshabad town near the vegetable market. The compound wall work was in progress on Saturday. Around 10 persons were hired for the work.
While they were busy in the compound wall work, the wall suddenly came down, trapping the workers in the debris. Passersby rushed them to the hospital. While two of the workers suffered fractures, other persons sustained bruises on head and other body parts. They were admitted to the Osmania Hospital and are reported to be out of danger. Meanwhile, the house owner is absconding after the incident. RGI airport police, under whose limits the incident occurred, is yet to register a case on the incident.
