Lawyer suspension put on hold
Hyderabad: Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday suspended an order stalling Mohd. Abdul Qavi from practising as a lawyer, after his enrolment to the Bar Counsel was suspended for allegedly making comments inciting communal hatred, disturbing peace and tranquillity.
The petitioner, claiming to be a member of the AIMIM party, contended that his social platform accounts were hacked by his political rivals.
Without going into the contentions of the posts, Justice Vijaysen Reddy pointed out that suspension without notice was contrary to the law and in violation of the Advocates Act.
