Public policy dialogue on GST today at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Institute for Sustainable Development and Governance is organising a public policy dialogue on ‘Goods & Services Tax (GST: Rationale, Relevance and Implications for Fiscal Federalism) on Friday at 4 pm at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club. Dr. Jose Sebastian, Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation, Kerala, will present the topic. Dr. M.A. Oommen, Dr. K.N. Harilal and C.P. John will also share their views on the topic.
Other participants also include officials from taxation department, eminent economists, policy experts, academia, civil society and media practitioners. A working paper on GST will also be released on the occasion. ISDG has been actively involved in research, documentation and advocacy towards sustainable, inclusive and accountable policy options for the state.
