Kochi: Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. (KMRL) and Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday to develop a jetty, marina and associated facilities for the Water Metro Project near Marine Drive. The integrated jetty facility will accommodate water metro operations and also tourist boats, which will provide safe access to tourists and passengers, without affecting free movement of pedestrians on the marine drive walkway.
The agreement will be signed by Konain Khan, General manager (Operation, Maintenance & Water Transport), KMRL and M.C. Joseph, secretary, GCDA in the presence of C.N. Mohanan, chairman, GCDA and Elias George, managing director, KMRL.
