RSS took call on Payyannur murder: P Jayarajan

KANNUR: CPM district secretary P. Jayarajan has alleged that the murder of CPM worker A.T. Dhanaraj in Payyannur was a fallout of the RSS decision taken in the Chinthan Baithak held in Kannur. Speaking at a press conference on Monday he said that the RSS knew that it had to take on CPM physically to firm its grip in Kerala.

“Unlike Congress, CPM has a well-oiled organisational machinery. So to break that RSS had found potential places to unleash violence. That was what happened in Payyannur,” he said. Jayarajan alleged that the saffron party's strategy is to kill CPM workers and hold communal organisations responsible for that. “To cover up their role, they would resort to all sorts of false campaigns,”he said.
